Recording Engineer and Studio Business Entrepreneur Ellis Sorkin Joins Immersion Networks

LA-based Sorkin will represent the immersive audio company to labels, music producers and engineers.

Immersion Networks, the immersive sound innovators, have enlisted industry veteran Ellis Sorkin to spearhead outreach and support for their content creation services to a broad base of clients. Sorkin will guide artists and labels seeking a high-quality, large-scale, and affordable solution to deliver immersive libraries from their legacy catalogs. Sorkin will work from Los Angeles, rounding out the Seattle-based team of audio scientists and music industry experts.

Ellis Sorkin has been a driving force in music recording, both in the studio and as a key industry insider. Earlier in his career as an engineer for A&M Records, Sorkin worked with Joni Mitchell, George Harrison, Carly Simon, Joan Baez, Quincy Jones, Joe Cocker, The Carpenters, and many others. 

As the Founder of Studio Referral Service Inc., Sorkin leveraged his expertise to create the industry’s leading global booking agency for high-end recording studio facilities and associated real estate holdings.
